| Linda Demetre’s collectors comment on the intimacy she captures on canvas. "Figurative work is my favorite," Demetre says. "There is nothing more beautiful than the human form. Two people interacting together says it all. If you can catch a tilt of the head and the lift of the eyebrows, then the mood is captured. Maybe all artists have a bit of that voyeurism when it comes to studying people, but a solitary female in a reflective setting can't be topped for appeal. What are they thinking? That's the language and magic of painting."
