Whimsical Sculptures By Korry Bird
Korry Bird became seriously interested in an artistic career while attending junior high school and has since directed his life toward that goal. Initially Korry studied with sculptor Stan Johnson and later at the University of Utah. There he received instruction from Angelo Caraveglia, one of America's most significant modern sculptors. He then worked with noted Western sculptor, Edward J. Fraughton. While in Fraughton's employ, Korry received instructive criticism and a thorough knowledge of bronze casting. Korry's work is in the permanent collection of Springville, Utah Museum of Art and in private collections throughout the West.
